Diisostearoyl Polyglyceryl-3 Dimer Dilinoleate (Emulsifier, natural)

This ingredient is an emulsifier of plant origin that can be obtained from various sources. In addition to its emulsifying effect, it is considered to nourish and soften the skin. It is used exclusively in our massage oil and emulsion to achieve better miscibility of the oils and aloe vera contained.

The name ingredient "Isostearoyl" means that the ingredient contains, among other things, isostearic acid (isooctadecanoic acid) as a fatty acid component (usually introduced via an acylation reaction).

This ingredient contains polymerised glycerol (as an alcoholic component). The number after "polyglyceryl-" indicates the average number of glycerol units.

A dimer is a molecule that consists of two identical subunits (the monomers).

Linoleates are salts or esters of linoleic acid (octadeca-9,12-dienoic acid).
