PURE food supplement
As a manufacturer of food supplements, we must of course also comply with the legal requirements of the Health Claims Regulation. This is because food supplements are legally classified as foodstuffs and not as medicines or drugs. The latter can easily be attributed an effect, whereas the manufacturers of food supplements are more restricted in this respect. So please don't be surprised if we don't talk about the "effect" of our food supplements, as the Health Claims Regulation only allows us to mention them to a limited extent. You can find out more about this in our blog.
As is so often the case in life, there are two sides to the same coin. On the one hand, the end consumer benefits from the Health Claims Regulation as they cannot be misled by unproven claims. On the other hand, consumers have to go to the trouble of researching numerous products themselves and finding expert and trustworthy sources, which can take a lot of time.
However, you should definitely take this time before buying supplements. While you can first find out which products and nutrients have approved health claims, you can also consult independent experts (such as therapists or nutritionists) for many other products. Thorough research can only benefit you!
