PURE food supplements - quality with responsibility

As a manufacturer of PURE food supplements, we are legally obliged to comply with the Health Claims Regulation. This states that food supplements are legally considered foodstuffs - not medicines or drugs. While the latter can be said to have an effect, we as manufacturers are much more restricted when it comes to health claims.

So please do not be surprised if we do not talk about the "effect" of our products. The Health Claims Regulation only allows a very limited number of claims, which must also be scientifically proven and approved by the EU. You can find out more about this in our blog.

As is so often the case in life, there are two sides to the same coin: on the one hand, the regulation protects you as a consumer from exaggerated or unsubstantiated promises. On the other hand, it also requires you to be proactive, as many valuable products may not be described in a way that corresponds to their actual use. Careful research is worthwhile - and talking to independent experts (e.g. therapists or nutritionists) can provide additional guidance.
