Our Aloe Vera Farm in Santa Margalida – run by the Telwest family
Since 2009, the Telwest family has been behind Aloe Vera Farm Mallorca. They made a conscious decision to cultivate aloe vera where the plant can thrive under ideal conditions: in Mallorca, in the agricultural region surrounding Santa Margalida.
What began as a small plot of land has developed over the years into a farm where visitors can now experience firsthand how aloe vera is actually grown, harvested, and processed. The Telwest family deliberately adopts an approach that has become rare in the cosmetics industry: full control over the plant’s entire journey—from the field to the finished product.
The aloe vera plants grow in the farm’s fields for at least five years before being harvested. This period is crucial, as only mature plants develop the high concentration of natural active ingredients for which fresh aloe vera from Mallorca is renowned.
Harvesting usually takes place early in the morning. Mature leaves are cut by hand and taken directly to processing. Only a few minutes separate the field from processing—a detail that plays a key role in preserving the plant’s natural quality.
Many visitors later report that this is exactly where they understand the difference: You see the plants, feel the warm Mallorcan air, and realize that real people are behind every product. For the Telwest family, this is precisely the core of their work—aloe vera products with traceable origins and honest production.
